A Spooktacular Round of Applause!

We need to give a monstrous round of applause to Ava, our 2025 winner for Best Costume! The competition was dead fierce this year, with so many ghoulishly good outfits haunting the barn. It must have been a spell-binding decision for the judges, who had to pick from a whole skeleton crew of amazing entries.

But Ava's creation was truly un-boo-lievable and crept straight into first place. We're not sure if talent or pure witch-craft was involved in making it, but it was absolutely fang-tastic. Congratulations, Ava – you really slayed it!

A Howling Good Hunt!

What's a Halloween party without a haunting? Our spooky treasure hunt had everyone rattling their chains with excitement! We didn't want to make it too easy, so our young ghost-hunters had to follow a trail of cryptic, cobweb-covered riddles that led them all over the eerily-decorated yard.

We heard a few shrieks of delight (and maybe a few of mock terror!) as they solved the clues and dug up the answers. It was a howling success, and we're pretty sure everyone found the treats at the end... no tricks here!

A Boot-iful Donation for the RDA

We have to give a huge, heartfelt thank you to our boot-iful farrier, Darren. He clearly wasn't foal-ing around this Halloween and decided to brew up some magic in his forge. He kindly created and donated a stunning, one-of-a-kind pumpkin sculpture made entirely out of horseshoes.

It was less "trick or treat" and more "trick-of-the-trade"—a truly unique piece of art that became the mane event of our charity auction. We are thrilled to announce that thanks to Darren's incredible handy-work and the crowd's generous spirit, we were able to auction it off and raise some serious spirits (and funds!) for the RDA. Thank you, Darren, for your spook-tacular support!
